This a tutorial on the computer algebra system Macaulay2 via the package by Hawes (2013) and Ferraro et.al. (2020). The package is designed to compute invariants of linearly reductive actions, based partially on the book Computational Invariant Theory (2015) by H. Derksen and G. Kemper.
